"Second Chances" at the Merrymeeting Arts Center by Daniella Trask

What a great way to cap off an exciting year - a solo show at the Merrymeeting Arts Center in Bowdoinham. Thanks to Brendan Bullock for asking me to show. It was an amazing chance to meet some of the super cool people that live in the local community.

Shows runs through January 26, 2019.

"Diapositive" group show at Cassilhaus by Daniella Trask

Collector and curator Frank Konhaus found my “Strange Histories” series online while researching the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players. A few conversations later and he asked to include some of my slide viewers in a show he was putting together at his gallery Cassilhaus in Durham, NC. “Diapositive” is a show featuring the work of 6 artists who’s work incorporates 35mm slides. If you find yourself down that way, the exhibition runs from July 26 - October 28.

Ian’s first solo show since moving back to Maine was at the Frank Brockman Gallery in Brunswick, ME. “Trash Planet” presented a brand-new, 50’ long spore installation, as well as an assortment of other work. The opening was hella fun and well attended. Thanks to everyone that came out.
